Saudi- Civil Aviation Authority confirms keenness to implement directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Crown Prince to serve pilgrims

Jeddah, Shawwal 29, 1438, July 23, 2017, SPA -- General Authority of Civil Aviation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia confirmed the statement issued by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, which confirms the keenness of the Government of the Kingdom to enable Qataris wishing to perform Umrah at any time and through any airlines except Qatar Airways provided that they start from Doha through only transit stations and arrive through King Abdul Aziz Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Airport in Madinah.
As for Qatari pilgrims and those residing in Qatar who have Hajj permits from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and the Hajj affairs authorities in Qatar and have been registered in Hajj Electronic Track, they will be able to come directly from Doha or through any other transit station and any carrier other than the Qatar Airways, selected by the Qatari government and approved by the General Authority of Civil Aviation and will be arriving and departing through King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah only during the Hajj season for this year 1438 Hijri.
