Morocco- Moroccan House of Councillors President Visits Chile to Strengthen Bilateral Relations


(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Rabat- A Moroccan delegation led by House of Councillors President Abdelhakim Benchamach will be in Chile from July 17 to 19 to strengthen ties between the two nations.

The three-day visit aims to foster cooperation and friendship between Morocco and Chile, while exploring various ways to benefit from the partnership.

The delegation is composed of Abdelkader Salama, the 4th vice president of the House of Councillors, Ahmed El Kharif, a member of the House's office and its representative in the Central American parliament,and Touria Lahrach, a coordinator of the Democratic Confederation of Labor in the House councillors.

This is the second time Benchamach has led to Chile in 2017, his first being in January.

During the trip Chilean Minister of Economy, Development, and Tourism Luis Felipe Céspedes said that Morocco was a gateway for Chile to African markets, while Chilean Minister of Energy Andrés Rebolledo said his country was interested by the kingdom's solar energy experience.
