(MENAFN) Lebanese industrial exports are still suffering to grow despite the government's strategy to ship goods by sea at affordable rates.
Accordingly, industrial exports in the Jan-March period of this year hit USD596.6mn compared to USD633.9mn in the same period of last year.
Additionally, the results in the cited period of the year were much worse than the same period of 2015 when industrial exports reached USD727.2mn.
Through the period, total industrial exports reached USD223.9mn, compared to USD211.6mn in the month of March last year.
