(MENAFN- Gulf Times) HE Sheikha Hind bint Hamad al-Thani, vice chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation (QF), visited Qatar Biobank yesterday to receive an update on the organisation's current projects. She met with a series of senior representatives including HE the Minister of Public Health Dr Hanan Mohamed al-Kuwari, Qatar Genome Programme Committee chairperson and Qatar Biobank board vice chairperson Dr Asmaa al-Thani, QF Research & Development executive vice president Dr Hamad al-Ibrahim, and Qatar Biobank's scientific and education manager and acting director Dr Nahla Maher Afifi. Following a presentation outlining the most recent developments of Biobank, HE Sheikha Hind toured the state-of-the-art facilities.
