(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) on Wednesday celebrated the arrival of the first batch of Typhoon fighters under the auspices of its commander Maj Gen Matar bin Ali al Obaidani at the Adam Air Base.
The jets are the first among a group of Typhoon fighters that will be inducted over a period of time. Typhoon is a multi-task combat aircraft equipped with advanced avionics. A number of senior RAFO officers and non-commissioned officers attended the induction ceremony.
