(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RAMALLAH, June 16 (KUNA) -- Three Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces in occupied Jerusalem Friday, Palestinian health ministry announced.
The victims; Baraa Saleh and Adel Ankoush, both 18 years-old of Deir Abu Mashaal village in Ramallah, and Amer Badawi, 30, of Al-Khalil city in southern the West Bank were shot dead by the occupying forces near Damascus Gate in occupied Jerusalem, the ministry said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Israeli police spokesperson Luba Al-Samri said that four Palestinians carried out two separate stabbing attacks in the old city, wounding an Israeli female soldier and a policeman before three of whom were shot dead by the police as the fourth fled the scene.
Earlier, dozens of Palestinians were wounded by Israeli forces' fire during demonstrations that called for lifting the blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip 11 years ago. (pickup previous) nq.ma
