Lebanon's parliament approves health ministry's budget


(MENAFN) Lebanese Parliament agreed on a budget proposed by the Health Ministry, to confirm that Lebanese patients are the top priority in the medical care program.

In a meeting chaired by Metn MP Ibrahim Kanaan, Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani and Finance Minister Ali Hasan Khalil were present, and they covered health policy in the country including public and private hospitals.

Kanaan said: "There are some hospitals that give Syrian patients priority over Lebanese because international organizations cover their [Syrians] expenses, and this is unacceptable."
