AZF Ramadan Sports Festival ends today

Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) will draw the curtains on its Ramadan Sports Festival (RSF) today, after two weeks of exhilarating competitions across Aspire Zone's state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor facilities. Fierce competition awaits the finalists eager to win top spot in the junior futsal tournament and the men's football and basketball tournaments.
In the latest round of the men's football tournament, Islamic Insurance and Maizer Youth qualified for the finals after securing a 5-0 win and a 4-2 win against teams Airport and Al Fazaa respectively.

Meanwhile, in the men's basketball tournament, teams All Stars, Black Tigers, and the Tunisian team qualified for the semi-finals after strong performances against Mosanada FMS, Phil Casa and Aspire Eagles.
On the adjacent indoor pitches, the juniors' futsal tournament concluded its latest round with impressive 13-0 and 9-2 wins for Sports Eagle and Almoj Al Azraq against Red Dragon and Gooners respectively. Meanwhile, MMA drew with Al Shabab FC with 3 goals each. The Ramadan Sports Festival is an annual sports event that runs for two weeks during the holy month. Over 1300 members from the local community have participated in 11 tournaments taking place across Aspire Zone's world class sporting facilities so far in 2017.
