(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Funtazmo, the sultanate's largest indoor family entertainment amusement park, located at Oman Avenues Mall in Bausher has premiered its much-awaited new Roller Coaster.
Having a length of 274m and a maximum speed of 9.5m per second (nearly 35km per hour), the Roller Coaster will complete one astounding cycle per minute; and with capacity of seating 16 people (four cars with four people each), it will entertain up to 500-600 passengers per hour. The ride will include number of inversions, two airtime hills and plenty of drops and 180 degree turns and twists to enthrall thrill-seekers, who will be secured with over-the-shoulder restraints and interlocking seat belts.
'When we brought Funtazmo to Oman, we gave the sultanate its largest family entertainment centre, so with the introduction of the country's largest indoor family Roller Coaster, we have a high standard to live up to. Funtazmo has almost everything required to entertain the young and the young at heart, which is why we conceptualised the place keeping family entertainment in mind. The Roller Coaster offers a comfortable and smooth ride, and has been manufactured in Italy. One can do almost anything with the track system as it is motor driven and can be operated in both the manual and automatic modes.
With safety being Funtazmo's number one priority, the company has hired Bureau Veritas as a third party for testing and commissioning of the Roller Coaster.
Funtazmo has over 250 rides and games for people from all age groups, and has two parts – the first being Funtazmo for kids, an indoor playground which is situated on the first floor and caters to kids in the age group of 6 months-12 years.
The new Roller Coaster has made its home in the second part of Funtazmo, which is located on the second floor, with a double height space giving the entire place a wow effect. The complete action can be viewed from two galleries across the centre - one located on the same floor and the other on the third floor.
Families can enjoy the all-new Roller Coaster and other rides at Funtazmo by obtaining a gaming card at the customer service desk, which you can preload with any amount.
