Morocco- Geert Wilders on Trump Speech: 'Own Culture is Far Superior to Islam'

(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Rabat – As usual, while the rest of the world listened to Trump's speech before the Arab Islamic American Summit and heard talk of a united Arab world and the west, the Netherland's, Geert Wilders, was hearing something else entirely.

Those who thought, or hoped, that the Dutch election put a metaphoric muzzle on the Party of Freedom's racist leader, Geert Wilders, were reminded Sunday that the man and his rhetoric aren't going anywhere quietly, anytime soon.

Raging against a machine of his own creation, that of an Islamic conspiracy to take over the world by any means necessary, Wilders took to Twitter Sunday to proclaim that %E2%80%9CIslam hates us.%E2%80%9D He continued, identifying Saudi Arabia as %E2%80%9Cthe biggest sponsor of terrorism and our own culture is far superior to Islam.%E2%80%9D

He wasn't finished. Calling Islam %E2%80%9Cevil,%E2%80%9D Wilders described the religion as %E2%80%9Cbarbaric and violent by nature.%E2%80%9D

Even as US President, Donald Trump, and Saudi Arabia's King Salman were urging a visionunified of worldwide cooperation to eradicate Islamist extremism, Wilders figuratively covered his ears and sang a tired refrain that went something like this: Islam %E2%80%9Cwants all non-Muslims to submit. Nothing will change that. We must deislamize.%E2%80%9D

Earlier Sunday Wilders tweeted an image of a party poster with the words: %E2%80%9CIslam is a dangerous totalitarian ideology in the guise of a religion.%E2%80%9D Hardly words meant to inspire bridge-building but perhaps not altogether unexpected either.
