Tunis, Sha'ban 25, 1438, May 21, 2017, SPA -- The 29th Ordinary Session of the General Conference of the Arab Atomic Energy Agency (AAEA) was held here today, with the participation of representatives from the Arab member states of AAEA, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Kingdom's delegation was headed by the Advisor at King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Arfaj.
At the session, Dr. Al-Arfaj called for unifying the future vision and exemplary cooperation between civilized countries and major international organizations, stressing that the Kingdom was keen to participate as an active and vital part of all international treaties related to nuclear security and safety.
