Oman- Former Pakistani cricketer Mohammed Wasim visits Al Hail School of Cricket


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Famous Test cricketer Mohammed Wasim recently visited Al Hail School of Cricketduring his ongoing trip to Oman. Born in August 1977, Wasim is a right-handed batsman and a former Pakistan National Cricket Team player who played and represented his country in 18 test matches and 25 ODIs during the 1996–2000 period. Having shifted base to The Netherlands for many years now, he plays for The Netherlands.

He visited the Al Hail Academy and ground. He conducted a very fruitful discussion with the management of Al Hail School of Cricket for entering into a tie-up for Development Programmes for his academy back in Islamabad, Pakistan and The Netherlands, which would include exchange programmes and visits of teams from the respective academies to play matches.

It would also cover coaching programmes with Al Hail School of Cricket. He was quite impressed with and praised the large scale facilities on offer:

The grass ground, net facilities and academy building with its own conference hall etc. He praised the coaches at the academy and was pleased to know that individual attention was given to the children with the help of various facilities in terms of on-ground practice, nets and bowling machines. He wished the school and the children a bright future.
