(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, May 18 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Interior has assured the public that the video clip circulated by social network users is a record of an exercise for airport security personnel.
In a press statement issued Thursday, the ministry said that the drill was held on Monday as part of the Ministry's scheduled drills.
It added that the strategic training plan includes organizing a series of drills in coordination with the General Directorate of Civil Aviation and others relevant bodies.
The Ministry urged social network users to stay away from assimilating rumors and to verify the authenticity of reports from the official sources. (end) ays.jk.ibi
