(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DOHA, May 19 (KUNA) -- Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received on Friday night FIFA President Gianni Infantino, now on a visit to Qatar to attend the inauguration of Khalifa International Stadium and the final of the Amir Cup. During the meeting, the FIFA President praised the facilities of Khalifa International Stadium, which will be one of the stadiums hosting World Cup 2022.
The meeting reviewed the latest preparations for hosting World Cup 2022, according to Qatar News Agency (QNA).
Earlier tonight, Sheikh Tamim patronized the inauguration of Khalifa International Stadium and announced it is ready to host World Cup 2022. (end) nnd.gb
