MANAMA, 21st May, 2017 (WAM) -- King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa of Bahrain yesterday received US Ambassador William Roebuck and Vice Admiral Kevin Donegan, Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command and Commander of the US 5th Fleet, and reviewed bilateral relations.
According to the Bahrain News Agency, the King hailed the solid strategic relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America and steadily-growing relations in all fields, commending long-standing ties which are based on trust, mutual respect and joint coordination.
The agency quoted King Hamad as saying that he hoped the GCC-American summit would yield positive and fruitful results that consolidate a strong partnership, serve strategic interests and bolster regional and international security and stability.
