Morocco- Mundiapolis University: Two Partnership Agreements Boost Aeronautic Industry


(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Rabat – The aeronautic industry in Morocco is still in crucial need of qualified manpower and the technical means to boost the development of this leading sector, said participants at the National Conference on %E2%80%9CDeveloping Aeronautical Skills: A New Approach to a New Vision.%E2%80%9D The event was held Thursday, in Casablanca.

The event was organized by Mundiapolis University and saw the signing of two bilateral partnership agreements. The signings occurred between the University, represented by Amine Bensaid, Bombardier, represented by Mourad Kamil, and the Moroccan Aeronautics and Space Industries Group (GIMAS), represented by its President, Karim Cheikh.

These agreements aim to introduce and develop certification training for employees in the aeronautics sector and the employees of the companies involved. It also hopes to strengthen the professional support of engineering students at Mundiapolis University, particularly through internships, study cases and end-of-studies projects.

With more than 12,000 jobs created and 120 companies generating a turnover of nearly USD 1 billion each year, aeronautics is establishing itself as a sector of excellence for Morocco, stressed Mundiapolis.

In this regard, Hamid Benbrahim, president of the Community of Moroccan Aerospace Industries and guest of honor of the event, confirmed that Morocco possesses promising competencies in the aeronautic industry. He highlighted the need to keep up with the rapid evolution of this sector by meeting the needs of the market and investors in this field.

With the Moroccan aeronautic industry continuing to attract many international investors and companies, such as Bombardier and Boeing, Benbrahim believes that training and education institutions should seize the opportunity to invest in the sector to keep up with the training curricula of the industry.

President of Mundiapolis, Amine Bensaid, said that, through this partnership, the university's ambition is to be the best companion for both students and companies by continuously adapting their training programs to the expectations of the job market and the needs of companies.
