(MENAFN) Arabs on social media websites are calling for a boycott of the famous pizza franchise after one of its branches in Israel ridiculed Palestinian hunger strikers through a picture comment on Facebook.
Israel had earlier released a video of, Marwan Barghouti, the hunger strike leader in Israeli prison.
The viedo allegedly shows him eating cookies. Mr Barghouti's wife insisted that the footage was "sham".
Consequently, Pizza Hut said it is sorry for the currently deleted post, adding it was "completely inappropriate and does not reflect the values of our brand".
