(MENAFNEditorial) UNCERTAIN STATE

A movie produce by les A.P.A.C.H. with the support of ARTES.

About the project

What can I do when, forced, Ihad to run away from my country during the revolution? How can I keep fighting for my opinions? How can I look forward when the present is unstable, precarious? How can I have an impact while, in thecountrythat I love, the international coalition sinks deeply into mud and blood?

Heis Mohammad, he's from Tartouzin Syria. He hasn't seen his countryfor 5 years; since he left his house running for his life. At the moment, he is living in Berlin where hisfight againstBachar Al Assad's governement still goes on.

With Mohammad, Tarek, the director wantsto show the situation of the Syrian people. Between the international community who meddled with the war and the closest countries thatboth have interestin it, he wants to shed new light on the fight, wich is far from beingover, that syrians struggleto bringpeace back in the country of his parents.

Director's note of intent:

I'm afraid for my country. I'm afraid of what it could become, that's why I need to make a film aboutSyria. A film that would give the speech to a syrian refugee, a filmto give him the opportunity to talkabout his feelings. A film that will make the spectators travel to Syria.

During a trip in Berlin, I met Mohammad Abu Hajar, a syrian refugee. Mohammad is a singer. He's been making oriental rap musicwith his friends for many years. Through his music, he talks syria and his personal feelings (here you can find a music of Mohammad, made 2 years ago :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxJkZD05yR0).
I immediately liked his musics for the beauty of the melodies and above all, the lyrics that he sings, which are very interesting. The music of Mohammad is a resistance instrument which seemsexcellent to me to talk about the regime.

Through the portrait of Mohammad and his music, I would like to talk about the syrian revolution. I would like the spectators to realize the uncertainty which is felt by the syrian people.

What are the funds for?

Ulule will help us in many ways. Indeed there is a lot of aspects who are more expensive thanwe first thought

We'll use the money to have a decent and sure home during the shooting periode (800€). The journey to Berlin with all the material is a big hole in the budget too (300€).The rest of the money will allow us to rent the best material possible and to do backups on professional hard-drives (280€). If you're good in Mathematics you'll have understood that the sumof all this isn't equal to 1500€ but to 1380€ (well done!). We have to keepa bit of the money to send it to the platform Ulule (who's doing an amazing work!)
