Man sentenced to death in Saudi after blasphemy


(MENAFN) Media sources said a man in Saudi Arabia, called Ahmad Al-Shamri, is to be executed after losing two appeals on charges of blasphemy of Prophet Mohammed.

In detail, Ahmad Al-Shamri, claimed to be ill-minded, denounced the Prophet Mohammed and put his shoes on the Quran.

He was taken jail after charges of atheism and blasphemy and put in prison before being sentenced to death in February 2015.

It"s worth mentioning that Saudi executes those who leave Islam, make armed robbery, practice sorcery, and commit murder.
