Jordan sends humanitarian aid to Iraq's Kurdistan


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, April 25 (Petra)--The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, sent a plane laden with humanitarian, medical and in-kind aid to Iraq's Kurdistan region.

The aid comes to enable Kurdistan to shoulder the increasing burden resulting from hosting tens of thousands of Iraqis fleeing to the region, especially from Mosul.

JHCO Secretary General Ayman Mifleh said upon Royal directives, a plane laden with 15 tons of medical and in-kind aid, left for Irbil in Iraq to distribute the aid to needy peoples.
