(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The headline, 'Oman among top five safest places in the world for tourists' (Muscat Daily, April 23, page 1) made me feel very happy for this beautiful country.It helped me to get connected to this land blessed with peace and tranquility all around by the Almighty.
Is it enough that I keep enjoying all the prosperity and well being this place has given me in my life, not giving back anything in return?
My conscious is guiding me to express my wholehearted gratitude to this blessed country which has given me growth and fulfillment in all walks of my life.
By feeling grateful and expressing gratitude, one can give back to somebody, some place or something, and it is high time I give my gratitude to Oman, I felt so.
We don't realise the value of so many of blessings by the Almighty and mostly they are taken for granted, but we still seek them desperately if we loose it or don't have them with us.
Doesn't it become our prime duty to acknowledge the friendship extended to us by this beautiful country and the people here? It definitely is.
It goes the same for every place we go and the every moment we enjoy there. If we do so with gratefulness to that place, we can truly say that we have also given something back to that place for all the beautiful moments we enjoyed there.
The headline also took me strolling down memory lane, years back when I first arrived here, leaving my relatives, near and dear ones back. I never foresaw that I would be spending so many wonderful years here in this blessed land.
Oman, I extend my whole hearted gratitude to you for all those wonderful years spent here.
