(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Hot weather will continue to prevail around the country in the coming days with the maximum temperature hovering around the late-30C/early-40C levels in most areas, the Qatar Met department has said. Today's forecast says it will be hazy in some places in the early hours of the day, followed by a hot day and slightly dusty conditions. Slight dust is also expected offshore at times, while hazy conditions are likely later. The maximum temperature will be 39C in Doha, Wakrah, Mesaieed and Al Khor today. Yesterday, it was 40C in Batna and Turayna, while in Doha it was 38C. The Met department also provided climate data for Doha in April. The daily mean temperature in the city in April is 26.4C, the department informed through social media. The highest April temperature - 46C - was recorded in 1973, while the lowest was 10.5C in 1967.
