(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Pakistan School Muscat, Junior School, recently organised an activity filled day to explore the insect world. Opening the door to the biodiversity, the activity focused on enabling the students to classify living organisms based on the variation of their physical features.
The activity proved to be a great opportunity for the students to establish a better understanding about the multifold level of insects.
In the morning assembly, students guided by their teachers staged role play of various insects. Model making of few insects' life cycle, quizzes, ramp walk of insects, performances on rhymes, drawing and painting and class presentations were conducted throughout the day. All these endeavours about insects laid a ground for the students to observe and explore the distinctive nature, sounds and physical features of the insects.
'Insects are a lot more fun to learn about rather than something to be scared of,' said a student at the end of the day.
Principal PSM, Khalid Jadoon, and principal Junior School, Munazza Ghafoor, joined the students in different activities and appreciated the efforts put in to make the insects part of an extensive learning project for the students.
