Riyadh to build medical city at USD346.6mn value


(MENAFN) A medical city for rehabilitation and treatment will be built in Riyadh due to an agreement inked between Saudi Arabia and Jordan, will have more than 1.100 beds.

In addition, the idea came due to the high demand on medical services, particularly in the field of physical disabilities, in GCC member states.

Furthermore, the estimated cost of the project, which will be built on 1.2mn square meters, amounts to USD346.6mn, while huge numbers of GCC citizens have been spending millions on these medical services.

Meanwhile, the project will produce more than 3.000 jobs and serve more than 170.000 patients a year and it will include three hospitals, equipped with the latest techs in the medical field.
