RAS AL KHAIMAH, 26th March, 2017 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, was briefed on plans and rogrammes the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment intends to implement in the emirate during a meeting with Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, at the Ruler's palace on Sunday.
Dr. Thani Al-Zeyoudi explained to H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi his ministry plans to improve services, protect and conserve the local environment and reduce pollution. He said the ministry has a project to meet requirements of fishermen and farmers so they can increase production.
A number of Sheikhs and local officials attended the meeting.
