Kuwait's KFAED, Lebanon sign KWD11.2mn loan


(MENAFN) The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) has inked a loan worth USD36.9mn with Lebanon to fund a number of water projects.

Furthermore, the projects plan to offer the nation with an adequate supply of water for consumption and irrigation.

In addition, the loan will be used to fund a project to build eleven tube wells with a production capacity of 10.000 cubic meters per day.

Whole planned projects are valued at USD51.9mn, of which 70 percent are comprised by the loan, while it will be repaid in 44 semi-annual installments.
