Kuwait- Spanish coast guards find 3 dead bodies, rescue 3 others


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MADRID, March 24 (KUNA) -- The Spanish coast guards recovered three bodies of illegal migrants and rescued three others on Friday.

The victims drowned after their rubber boat capsized nearly 11 nautical miles off the southern Cadiz province, according to a statement released by the guards this evening.

The boat was carrying seven migrants, of who three were rescued alive; and one of them was rushed by a helicopter to a hospital due to his critical condition.

The seventh man is still missing and the coast guards are searching for him, the statement said.

The coast guards started a search and rescue operation after receiving a radio message from a non-government organization in Morocco in the early morning. (end) hnd.gb
