Road Accidents Killed 18 People in Morocco Last Week


(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Rabat – 18 people were killed and 1,573 were injured, including 76 seriously, in 1,210 traffic accidents that occurred in urban areas on March 13-19, the police said.

These accidents were mainly ascribed to non-control of vehicles, non-respect of priority, excessive speeding, pedestrian and driver errors and driving under the influence of alcohol, the same source pointed out in a statement.

More than 31,889 traffic tickets were issued by the police during the same week.
