Brothers Khaled Eyad and Mohammed Eyad celebrate
The third and final round of the Eighth Pro-Class and Excursion Boats Competition 2016/2017, which was organized by Kuwait Sea Sports Club, saw the Eyada team, comprising of brothers Khaled Eyad and Mohammed Eyad, win the Pro- Class 28-feet category.
The team comprising of Mahmoud Al-Shatti and Haidar Akbar came second and the team of Mustafa Dashti and Abbas Al-Eskafifrom Bahrain came third in the Pro-Class 28-feet category. Meanwhile, the team of Bader Marzouq Al-Dosari and Abdulrahman Al-Shuaib topped the Pro-Class 23-feet category.
Al-Fisam team made up of Ahmad Sulaiman Al- Fisam and Nasser Bader Al-Fisam took second place, and the team of Mohammed Turki and Mohammed Al-Zuraihan took third place. The pair of Bader Marzouq Al- Dousari and Adel Al-Shuraidah came first in the Excursion Boats category followed by the Bahraini team made up of Sami Jafar Al-Shawat and Mohammed Abdul Ali in second place and the duo of Ahmad Fouad Abul and Ali Saad Salman in third place.
The competition was held at the seaside area opposite Belajat Street in Salmiya amid a fabulous weather and calm sea as well as an intense and thrilling competition among the participants. The award ceremony took place in the presence of Chairman of Kuwait Sea Sports Club Major General Fahad Al-Fahad, Secretary General Khaled Al-Foudri and other officials in addition to representatives from the Coast Guard, Kuwait Fire Service Directorate and Medical Emergency Department.
